Informations on the AAs

All of the AA courses that start at 12:30 are directly at the end of the school day for KG-P2 on Mondays and for the majority of KG-P5 on Wednesdays and Fridays. We will have someone helping the KG and GS children to find the AA rooms and we will have a meeting point (will be announced shortly) for the children to gather. After the first one to two weeks, the older children can go to the rooms by themselves. We will inform you if your children are expected to go to the meeting point after the first few weeks, but all children can, of course, meet there if they are unsure of where to go, regardless of age.

All of the children will have 15 minutes for a small bite to eat (packed lunch) and then will start the AA courses. If your child goes to Momi after the AA course, she/he will need to have a packed lunch that can be eaten at MoMi (the use of the canteen is only for MoMi children and it is only possible to eat in the canteen directly after the end of the school day, not after the AA courses).

Please, when you book the AA courses, inform us if your child/ren is/are registered for Momi/Nami on the days they will participate in AA courses or if they will attend a Support and Challenge Programme before the AA.

If you book an AA course that does not start at 12:30 or 15:40, you must either 1) book Momi/Nami or 2) you must pick your child/ren up from school and bring him/her back when the AA course starts.

You can always book two AA courses one after the other, as long as your child/ren are not alone in school. KG and GS children must be supervised within the school grounds at all times, either by an AA teacher or by Momi, though older GS children would have independent freedom of movement between classes.

Please carefully check the information about the specific AA courses. In some cases, we ask parents to bring the children to the location where the AA will take place or to pick them up from an external location.

This year we are able to offer two swimming courses, but all participants must have a Seepferdchen badge. When you are booking the course, please send us a copy of the swimming badge/book to kar-evaa@partner.eursc.eu. Some AA courses start earlier. Please carefully check all the descriptions.

As usual, we will offer some full school year courses and some semester courses.

The language clubs are open to all students.

If your child/ren cannot attend their booked courses one day, you must write an email, in addition to writing to the school absence lists for GS and OS respectively, to: the AA teacher, to the AA team, and if necessary, to MoMi. Putting these 3 groups in copy to the absence email is also acceptable.

To be able to book any AA you need to pay the PA fee https://www.esk-eltern.de/en/join/ (even for external AA).
