Summer Fest

This year’s summer festival will be held on 25 June 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm .

We expect the weather to be great – as always – and you to come and bring your family, relatives and friends.

This is important, since all the money we collect will be used for projects and to support YOUR children. 

Since the resources of the PA are limited, we need YOUR help to make the SOMMERFEST a real success: Please sign in on the helpers´list to help out in the tent or at the book sale or in the Canteen at the intl´Café stand.

We would appreciate your donation of cakes/cupcakes for Intl’ Café (Please bring in your cake/cupcakes to the Canteen on the morning of June 25th).

The Book Sale will, as always, take place next to the Admin Building. If you have any books, CDs or other media for our „book-shop“, please drop them at the security desk


The flea market will take place at the playground of the first graders. Please inform us if you want to sell things.


This year at the Summer Fest the PA would like to raise money again by organizing a Tombola to help fund many of the school activities and projects which may otherwise be in danger of being cancelled.

In order that it is once more a great success, we need your help and the help of the parents in your class.

Like last year, the prizes for the Tombola are “presentation baskets” for which parents are asked to donate items.

Here is how it works:

Parents of each class are requested to work together for this fund raising project. Any parent can manage this project if they wish.

  • Each class shall select a theme for the presentation basket (e.g. a country, season, sport or anything else that preferably fits the theme).

  • Parent representatives shall organize a collection box to be put in the classroom or some other convenient place as agreed by the parents and school or the representative will collect money and buy suitable items

  • Parent representatives who are managing the project can make an attractive “presentation basket” containing the items collected. When completed, the presentation baskets can be brought to the PA office, or brought in on the day of the Summer Fest.

  • The Tombola winners will receive a “presentation basket” that has been made by each class as prizes.

  • The Tombola tickets will be drawn on the day of the Summer Fest. If the owner (or representative) of a winning ticket is not present at the Fest to receive their prize, another ticket will be drawn until a winner is there to claim their prize.

    The PA hope all the classes will take up the challenge and there will be many prizes. This will mean that each Tombola ticket holder has a very good chance of winning one of the “presentation baskets”.
