Description

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or BJJ is a variation of the Japanese martial art Jiu Jitsu. The focus is on ground fighting, but throwing techniques from a standing position are also used in BJJ.  In this sport, it is particularly important to step onto the mat with respect and mutual attentiveness.
During a training session, we first warm up, then explain two to three new techniques and practise these with our partners, followed by several rounds of free sparring.  Overall, our aim is to create a safe place for everyone, characterised by respect, tolerance, fairness and reliability.
TeamXtreme Karlsruhe e.V. was founded in 2018 and has grown continuously since then under the leadership of Esa Muradi.
Our training is divided into children's training (one for children aged between 6 and 9 and one for children aged between 10 and 13). From the age of 14, it is possible to take part in all training sessions (no longer just children's training).

This course is external and cannot be booked via the PA.
