20.03. Build your own robot, with Cornelius Klas
24.04. Experiments with a KUKA-robot, with Martina Haitz
22.5. Programming with Lego Mindstorms, with Carmen Beckenbach
12.06. Coding: Calliope and Sonic Pi, with Michael Vierling

Coding: Calliope and Sonic Pi
To control robots, we need to know how to program! In this workshop, we offer you an introduction to coding: The Calliope mini experimental board lets you explore technological knowledge and IT practice in a playful way. Advanced users can dive into live coding and produce music with the freeware Sonic Pi.

Experiment with a real KUKA robot!
Today we are working with a real industrial robot. Martina from the artist group robotlab (https://www.robotlab.de/) will give you a look behind the scenes and show you how she gets her robots to draw pictures or write texts.

Programming with Lego Mindstorms
How are robots programmed, how can they perceive their environment or react to it? We will use Lego Mindstorms software to learn how to program robots. We will have a lot of sensors and components at our disposal to “teach” the little machines how to paint or dance, for example.

Build your own robot
In this workshop, you will build your own little robot: you will think about possible movements, construct the mechanics, and use a wide variety of materials to design a creative body for your machine. We will solder, glue, paint—and at the end, you can take your invention home with you!
