Description

In this course, students will explore the art of macramé and crochet through engaging, age-appropriate projects.
During the first semester, the focus will be on macramé. Younger children (P1 to P3) will discover materials such as cord, thread, beads while learning basic knots to develop patience and coordination. Older students (P4 and above) will master advanced knots, designing more complex items, like wall hangings and decorative garlands.
In the second semester students will learn crochet. Younger children (P1 to P3) will get familiar with yarn, hook, and basic movements, creating small simple items. Older students (P4 and above) will master basic stitches, reading simple patterns, and creating useful or decorative items.

The teacher may ask for a small contribution at the beginning of the year to help cover the cost of materials and will send a list of basic equipment to have ready before the course begins
