Parents' Associations of all European Schools are joined under the umbrella organisation Interparents. Interparents, in turn, represents parents on issues dealt with by the Board of Governors in Brussels. Issues range from nursery and primary teaching, secondary teaching, administrative and financial issues, Special Educational Needs and Learning Support, Attainment contracts, the European Baccalaureat qualification, languages and libraries and the development and reform of the European Schools. The Karlsruhe Parents' Association is extremely active within Interparents and realises the important of maintaining a strong commitment to supporting all parents throughout the whole European school system. It is important for all parents that this link to the Board of Governors in Brussels is fully supported so that there is strength in unity over ensuring a healthy and stimulating environment for all our children.
