Roundtable letter - Hugh Cooke 30 April 2009

Dear Colleagues,

During the last Staff Meeting, we suggested the formation of a “Round Table” group, and invited staff to participate.

It is aim of the group to assist in the further development of school life in all its aspects: lessons, atmosphere, or the working situation.

However, we consider it to be sensible to look at concrete, projects, realisable in a limited time frame. We, therefore, would like to invite all interested persons to a meeting on Thursday 7th May at 15:45hr in the Permanance.

In order to set the ball rolling, the following themes have been suggested:

! Transition of students from the Primary Section to the Secondary.
! The Open Day.
! School environment( litter and cleanliness
! Students with special talents.
! Bullying/Mobbing (students not staff... well maybe)
! AOB

We look forward to working with you and hope the meeting will reveal common areas of concern and be the first step in bringing about agreed change.

Regards,

Hugh Cooke and Martin Baumgarten.
