new “wind instruments” music project for the students in the 1st year OS

Dear 5th Grade school parents

The European School is going to start a new “wind instruments” music project for the school year 2010/11 for the students in the first year secondary school. Your child will have the unique chance to learn to play a wind instrument (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone …) under the tutorship of highly qualified music teachers, and in small groups; she/he will also be part of an ensemble that will practice during the normal music lessons.
Generally speaking, pupils enjoy playing together and their access to music will enhance their cultural appreciation.
The big advantage is that your child will not be over burdened, as this “wind instruments class” will be taking place during school hours.

Please do not forget to mention the class and your child’s name. As soon as I get the e-mail, I will send you more detailed informations including the cost and hire of instrument.
