Frau Pavlicikova begrüßt uns alle herzlich.

Protokoll der letzte Sitzung
Frau Ribeiro would like to have the following sentence changed: The ITU representative requested that children were given either choices in European Hours

Seite 2: Frau Ribeiro would underline the good cooperation and would like to continue to work closely together.

Entwicklungsplan:
-Cooperation with other European School’s is not easy but we would like to continue the cooperation regarding the choir
- Continue to work with the national days in the school
- Continue to work with the Harmonic Tower and Assembly’s
- Continue to work with a class council where school rules will be discussed as well

Building plans
 - Rollovers for Bau A
 - Toilet renovation: the school will give KA city council more pressure regarding this
 urgent matter
 - Play Ground renovation in May/June 2010 behind Bau B: Green Court

Art Inspection
 - February 2010

Extra curriculum school activity’s
- Biotoop
 - continuous cooperation with the school library

Wiesenraum
 - new equipment will be bought (January 2010). Frau Streul will be responsible.

Renovations
 - Kindergarten: Toilets for the disabled
 - 1 door will be closed (near the art room), so there is one way to go to KG
 - Many new children in KG. There is a 2nd KG class for the younger children
- KITA: Building Site will start this school year
 - New lamps
- New rooms in Bau B: SEN En + Dutch Swals
- The pond is almost ready for use. (Sponsored by KVV)

 - KG: 4 Klassen (2x DE, 1x EN, 1x F)
 - GS Klasse 1 bis 3 (3 sections, 1 class each: DE, EN and F)
- GS Klasse 4 und 5 ( 5 sections: NE, EN, DE, F and IT)
- New teacher in KG EN from Canada
- New class teacher for class 5E: Mrs. MacKenzie

5. Christmas parties
 - Class 1&2 : Musical arbar (a fairy tale)
 - Class 3,4 &5: Eco Musical “5 to 12”: Casting starts 3.11.09
- EV will organise “Glühwein” after the musicals and is trying to organise a christmas card project. Teachers will make the xmas cards and the EV will take care of the printing.

6. Vorstellung der Richtlinien Kommunikation, Bullying Policy
- A draft on the communication policy is issued on this meeting. It will be distributed through the website, via email to the class reps
- Anti Bullying policy: a draft is issued on the meeting. Document is discussed
- Frau Ribeiro: Will there be support for teachers?
- Frau Gabriel answers: Peer support from other teachers and the school psychologist supports the teachers.
- Document will be published on the website

7. Cooperation between EV and the school
- Mrs. Pavlicikova expresses her gratitude to those who made the cooperation a success
- Continue cooperation with class reps (emails, breakfast organisation, school fests)
- Interparents representation is important
- SEN: The in inspector of the Czeck republic is now head of the SEN working party. Budget has been reduced.
- SEN Document will be published on the website

8. MOMI
- Mrs. Pavlicikova expresses her gratitude to those who made the cooperation with the school a success.
- Issues: coordination with extra outside school activities with MOMI must improve
- Issue: playground duty during MOMI 
- Communication on these matters have improved
- ITU: is trying to find a solution for the week before the holiday.
- ITU: will try to make parents aware of the extra activities after school organised by the EV and the MOMI/NAMI possibilities.

9. Teacher input
- lunch break times for the children between 11-13 hrs is not a good idea. We prefer to keep the current available time slots for our classes.
- Discussion is about 10 minutes. This needs to be resolved. Mrs. Pavlicikova is looking for solutions.
- Website: many problems with school server because of old system. Working group is busy creating a new website. Please be patient. Mr. Voorneman is aware of the problems and is trying his best. Writing him rude emails about the website not functioning is not helping.

10. Parent input
- Organisation of Events: Mrs. Van Velzen evaluates last school year and is hoping to continue the excellent cooperation this school year.
- The EV had a busy and hectic start of the school year with the organisation of the Bike Fest/Welcome Back party.
- There will be a New Years Party on 29th of January 2010
- Project Days: The EV made some money last year by selling cakes. They earned 2000 euro and would like to support the school by sponsoring projects during Project Week. Teachers need to fill in an application form (available on the EV website)
- TOT: The EV realises that more food and lunch possibilities need to be present on this day. This will change in April 2010.
- Cooperation with Intersport: they are sponsoring the school: discount and sponsoring events with the Karlsruher Basketball Team. Basketball clinic will be organised. Not only for secondary but also for 5th year primary.

- Social Fund and School trip fund guidelines: please apply in advance. It would be nice if applicants are EV members as well. Don’t expect a 100% funding. Policy will be that max. 50% will be funded. Please apply at the EV.

-Objectives: Mrs. Van Velzen proudly announces the new website which will me maintained by Mrs. Winthrop and mentions 3 new objectives: languages, lost hours and linien direktive
- Communication: in cooperation mit Mrs. Wipper from TAC Office
- School pictures: old system was not bad. Teachers ask if it could say like this instead of the new system. Mrs. Van Velzen mentions that in secondary it did not work out very well. The system and set up will be evaluated and discussed within the EV.

Transport: Bus 11 (12:30 hrs) has been cancelled. The EV will ask Mrs. Meyer the reason for cancelling.
