After-school Activities Draft Preview 2009-2010

The Parents’ Association offers a range of after-school activities for all pupils at ESK. These activities are planned to encourage pupils to become involved in hobbies and interests that have cross-year and cross-language opportunities throughout the school. As some pupils have to travel long distances to and from home, ESK PA organise after-school activities at school to enable all pupils to widen their range of interests in many diverse areas offered through the programme.

For the new school year 2009 – 2010 the Parents’ Association once again offers a diverse programme of activities for its members. For your information, here is a short draft preview of all the activities available for this year.

Art and Drama

Art – Primary school
Theatre in French – Secondary School
Theatre in German – Secondary School

Languages

Club français and Club du jeudi– for Kindergarten and Primary school
Deutscher Club – for primary school
English club – for primary school
Chinese
Hungarian
Multilingua-Club*  (see further information go to the Idioma Language school website)

Chess and Computer

Chess
Computer studies – for Secondary School

Sport

Football – For Kindergarten and classes 1 and 2 Primary School
Ballet – for Primary school
Modern dance and musical – for Secondary school
Basketball – for secondary school

Courses begin at the beginning of October and run till the end of May. The costs of each course ranges between 45 Euros and 55 Euros. Please note that Multilingua Club is run by an independent language school and has different price ranges. All the information about the courses, including the content of each programme, who is running the course, when and where the activity is going to be held and the maximum number of participants will be made available at the beginning of term.
