 SUMMER FEST - Sunday 21st June

3 Weeks to go!

The traditional Parents’ Association Summer Fest is taking place on Sunday 21st June at School. This is the highlight of the year and we are sure that everyone will enjoy themselves as there is much planned for the day –

• Refreshment tent with sausages, steaks, french fries, soft drinks and beer

• Canteen Café with cakes, tea and coffee

• Bouncy castle and (by popular request) human table football (first come first served)

• Full stage performances programme (by your children)

• A bike challenge...

A joint Parents Class reps and PA Committee meeting was held on 13th May in the Conference Room at ESK. Once again there were 2 meetings, the first in the morning at 8.30 and the second in the evening at 6.30. The comments of the meetings have been amalgamated into one document.
Feedback from parents about the Open Day.
On the whole parents enjoyed the Open Day. The weather was fantastic and there was a good atmosphere all round the school and in the new canteen.

Cindy Van Velzen, President, reported on the two web presentations which had taken place earlier that afternoon. Both presentations were good and took into account the different project requirements - information, communication, calendar (interactive, multiple, administrative requirements (membership, canteen, transport, selling t-shirts, etc.), help build a community spirit (forum). The two presentations were quite different, in that one was conceptual and the other was an already prepared visual. The third presentation would take place next week.
