Amerikanische Bibliothek, Karlsruhe (events calendar)
Dienstag-Freitag: 14.00-18.00
Mittwoch auch: 10.00-12.00
Samstag: 10.00-14.00
Montag geschlossen
Die Bibliothek befindet sich in der Karlsruher Nordstadt, Kanalweg 52, Telefon: 0721-72752. Weitere Informationen sind auf der Homepage: www.amerikanische-bibliothek.de

How Many Days to America? A Thanksgiving story Friday, 25.11. at 16.30 After the soldiers go, Father tells the family, “We must leave right now”. Taking only money and a change of clothes, the family flees to the harbor while it is still dark and boards a small fishing boat. Set in the Caribbean, our Thanksgiving tale tells the dramatic and touching story of present-day refugees who, like the original Pilgrims, have a very personal reason to celebrate Thanksgiving. After the story we’ll make pop-up Thanksgiving cards that you can send to your friends. Please call ahead and reserve a place.
